asker Same anon; That's just me explaining my view. I understand that the person who posted that wasn't natively English speaking, and so I can completely understand why they made that mistake.

Would be nice if people got offended when people were trying to be offensive instead of when someone made a totally innocent mistake. So bored of tumblr drama.

asker As a trans* identified person, I have no problem with the use of transgender or trans* as a noun. Ignore that anon; they're just trying to pick a fight. I love your blog, btw :)

Yeah I know, thanks

asker saying "a transgender" is like saying "a gay" or "a black". It's awkward and offensive. Are you not a cis man who collects pictures of androgynous women and people? Why do you believe you're more knowledgable than this anon who is is possibly trans themselves (or this anon who is)?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nope that was Lilja who posted that, she isn’t natively English. Stop trying to pick fights.

asker It's still not "a transgender" it's not a noun, it's an adjective.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Grasping at straws? Transgender can be used as a noun. :)

Also look here, transgender is seen as a third gender in some cultures/societies. :)

asker The term isn't "a transgender" it's not a third gender. There is a such thing as Bigender. Have her look it up. This is a time for experimentation and self discovery. Be free to express yourself however you please, be it masculinely or femininely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trans does not mean “third” here.
Transgender (pron.: /trænzˈɛndər/) is a general term applied to a variety of individuals, behaviors, and groups involving tendencies to vary from culturally conventional gender roles.”

asker Hey... First of I just wanted to say your blogs really cool! XD And that its given me a lot of inspiration. I'm Evie by the way, I'm 14, and having a bit of trouble. I think I might be transgender, but then some days I'll want to be female. Is it possible to be both? (As in female and male) Thanks!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you. You might be a transgender, or you might not be. You’re a teenager and that’s the perfect time to wonder about things and trying new things out. You’ll figure it out.
It’s possible to be both female and male, at least mentally, it’s a lot harder to accomplish that physically.
I have some days when I feel like such a girl, and then I have sexless days when I don’t feel like neither.

It’s all dependable on people, some are girls are girly girls, some men are manly men, some girls are boyish girls and some boys are girlish.

You’ll just have to figure out what fits you the best :) You are in charge of defining your self.
